This is a single origin Kenyan coffee from the Gakuyuini, Kirinyaga region. The coffee is grown on small farm lots at an altitude of 1600-1800m. The coffee cherries are hand picked and washed which produces quality coffee with notes of lemon and blueberries. This coffee tastes great in pour-over, areopress or as an espresso. Origin Bean roasted this coffee in conjunction with Kofè Roasters who are proud supporters of sustainably sourced beans. As a result of this partnership we can proudly say the farmers are getting adequately compensated for the hard work they put into producing such a world class coffee.
